I hope this works.
We have the one broody with her newly hatched chicks in our walk in shower. Pics in following post.
Due to hatch on the 18 are over 30 more in an incubator at a fellow BYCers.
We will pick them up as soon as they are all dry.

So! One of my other really big Cochins has gone broody. She has plucked herself underneath and is very crabby about my checking for eggs.
Since the dog crate was vacated this morning, I got the brilliant idea to see if this new broody would set on a couple of test eggs.
If all goes well, I am going to make a swap on her when we get the other chicks.
There will certainly be far to many for her to take care of, so I am praying that I have another go broody this week as well.

Time will tell!!

This house was built by a family that had a severly handicapped child.
That shower is one very small portion of the main bath. It is big enough for a large wheelchair, plus lift and assistant to fit nicely.
This bathroom also has a huge "bedroom" area, a storage hall on the other side of that shower, with the toilet in between, and then a roomy sink and counter area.
Its so big, we are going to split it up into another bedroom with a bathroom, and still have the jaccuzi and sink available as our main bathroom. Just have to add a toilet for that section.

I think the total area is about 400 sq feet total

And yes, we still have the master bathroom as well

What a nifty idea! I hope that all goes well with the mama and babies and with what sounds like some upcoming construction work in your home.
