Wow. I admire your tarantula, however I will draw the line at touching the tarantula. That is too much for me That is so cool! Phantom is a great name. What do tarantulas do? What is good for entertainment for them?

Thanks ! They mostly sit there and rest , there opportunistic hunters so they don't go out and catch the food , they wait for the food to come to them ! Hmm...entertainment ..hunting(or sitting ,lol) is something they like to do if that's what your asking ?

I was just wondering if putting things like branches in there are fun for them to climb on, etc. I'm just curious because I know nothing about tarantulas.

Oh ok ! Yes , but only for some kinds like the arboreal types (ones that live in trees ) the other types might like to , but it's generally safer if you limit high things in a tarantulas cage because if they fall there abdomon will ...well ...splat ! So unless there arboreal I would'nt you could probably put things that seem interesting for a tarantula in there !

Yeah I was actually thinking about this today looking back at the pics I posted . Yikes ! If she fell off my arm that would not have been good !

I'm assuming a good way to handle them is when you're on the floor or the bed? All these questions sound like I want a tarantula, but I'm just curious lol
