I Miss My Birds!! :(

so after our 4-H fair we had to get rid of all of our poultry because our neighbors complained too much and called the state zoning board about us... and somehow it was unsafe for us to have poultry...blah...blah blah...
so i had a good friend take all my birds.. but they live an hour away and i miss every single one...
i miss the way they'd come to me when i had a treat
i miss them in general...
its killing me

they were my babies and now they're all gone

Hmmm, what sort of birds? If chickens aren't allowed, what about ducks or quail...

Dangit! I'm sorry this happened. Neighbors can be evil. Don't they know that Fairs are a learning experience?

How come you're zoned for a rabbit farm but not chickens? Did you ever check the zoning rules in your area?

Health wise ... if it was so bad.... Why do we have Chicken Farms every where, and why are the owners not dropping like flies?

Have you ever noticed the amount of EGGS and CHICKEN sold on the shelves in the grocery store! The display is huge for the chicken products, in comparison to the beef and pork.

And I'm thinking is 4-H only good for one fair? Are you not still an active member, or even a member!?

What does it matter what your Neighbor thinks?
Mine do not like it but as far as I can tell it's not against the law.
I go to court on Wednesday.
BTW: I do not like everything they do neither. But I do not complain I just let them be.

And on an informative note.
Chickens have been estimated to be domesticated since 7000 BC.
So I would think the health issue would have been a whole lot more prominent than it is.
