You had some beautiful birds

I've lost 5 birds to dogs (my SISTER'S dog), two of which were my favourite birds. Not all were chickens (3 quails and 2 chickens) but it's devastating all the same. I hope you're okay

Also you might check to see if there is a Free Cycle group in your area on Yahoo Groups. You could possibly get materials or who knows what there. So sorry for all your losses. Your silver Sebright looked like my Peepermint Patty.

3 days ago,I looked out my window to check on my birds early in the morning and I looked out and knew what I saw. It was one of my beloved chickens,headless and partially eaten. Then I check my two geese only to find my goose killed as well. The gander was ok. We set a trap that night and the next day there was the raccoon that did it. Excuse my language but we killed the *******. But how do I get over their deaths? There were only 6 chickens and 2 geese,all a year old,so I really got to bond with each of them. I raised them from days old. I've never been so heartbroken in my life. They kept my depression away. Every time I go out there,it makes me so sad. We were all like a little family. Yes,it's only been a few days,but I've been grieving so much. How do I stop?

I am so sorry, I know how it feels. Two days ago I lost my favorite chick to a opossum, because my dad forgot to put them away.
