I live about a mile and a half away from our beach. You know, if I were to move, I'm sure I'd miss it. Its not that I go there often, but, like it is said, you take what you have for granted. I know, when I borrow my daughter's car, and have to pick her up at work, she works on "The Strip", in Fort Lauderdale at the Hilton. I love the ride down A-1-A, the beach is just so beautiful. Wish I could send it your way for you.

And yes, it has been a very cold winter!! I've lived here my whole life, and I don't remember one quite this cold. Although I'm told it used to be like this.
