leaving his family.

He was Stationed in Soul Korea for a year with out them.
Then he got orders for Iraq BUT that was cancilled at the last minute when they changed his job description and he had to cross train for this deployment..

Melanie-
I am glad that you were able to go visit him. Our daughter is leaving for Afghanistan in 2 wks. She is stationed at Ft. Campbell KY. I wonder if they know each other?

She is leaving three small children, 6 1/2, 4, 2 1/2 with her husband who is also stationed there. I was supposed to see them for Christmas but it didn't work out. I saw her last July. Maybe they are in the same unit.

I will keep him, his family and your family in my prayers.

Welcome home I am glad you got to see them!! I am a Army wife my husband was gone for 18 months. It is ssssoooo hard, but we do what we have to.

Hi Mel...Glad to have you back among us...Your son has my utmost respect for serving his country...My DD is AF and can or could be deployed if needed....He will be in my thoughts and prayers as they all are ..........
