And thank you Henretta66 - How nice that you remembered this was not his first time
leaving his family.
He was Stationed in Soul Korea for a year with out them.
Then he got orders for Iraq BUT that was cancilled at the last minute when they changed his job description and he had to cross train for this deployment..
Melanie-
I am glad that you were able to go visit him. Our daughter is leaving for Afghanistan in 2 wks. She is stationed at Ft. Campbell KY. I wonder if they know each other?
She is leaving three small children, 6 1/2, 4, 2 1/2 with her husband who is also stationed there. I was supposed to see them for Christmas but it didn't work out. I saw her last July. Maybe they are in the same unit.
I will keep him, his family and your family in my prayers.
Once again I am in awe at these kids you have raised.
Monica, Mom leaving three kids that age??? OMG.
Melanie, I think you already know how I feel about your son.
You both, and your wonderful children will be in my thoughts
and prayers daily.
Please make posts to update us all of how things are going.
When you get a letter or phone call tell us about it. I think
I can say I speak for everyone here.
Hi Mel...Glad to have you back among us...Your son has my utmost respect for serving his country...My DD is AF and can or could be deployed if needed....He will be in my thoughts and prayers as they all are ..........
