I ordered 18 female and 15 male chicks and got a free mystery chick this April. One was DOA, one died mysteriously at 5 weeks and one seems to have gone missing. It turn out that the free chick is an Araucana mix. Nice bird. I have them in a chicken ark. Fun times. These guys are a riot. Poop everywhere though. I'm looking forward to my blue and brown eggs this fall.

The kids were going to show them in the fair (so much for that idea) and my son ties flies. Then they will be soup.
