I need a broody FAST!!!!!!

So I am getting a couple of fertile peacock eggs that I have been told a chicken will hatch! I can't seem to get a broody......

What can I do to get a broody hen as fast as possible?

Try putting a bunch of golf balls together and see if a hen will take?

Better to leave eggs in the nestboxes. I use golf balls to help them realize where to lay, but, leaving eggs in the nestbox encourages the hens that are ready to go broody.
What breeds of chickens do you have? Some breeds have a better chance to go broody. Also, hatcheries tend to breed out broodiness in favor of production.

If you really truly want a broody, you could always try and get a full grown Silkie. I have one and she goes broody every time she lays a clutch of 5-10 eggs. We let her hatch them because we just love our Silkies.
