Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. But my mom will not let me have an incubator and none of our hens have gone broody and I want little fuzzy butts.

I guess I will have to wait until the hens decide to go broody. I have bantam cochin hens and millie fleur hens I want chicks out of. Sorry but this is my rant for the day.

Unless of course, she's my silkie, who sends some very not nice clucking my way whenever I put her in the broody pen to see if she's interested in sitting on some eggs and jumps out like I set her rear on fire. Right now I'm depending on my BO/EE who is acting wishy-washy broody to hatch some silkie eggs I bought.

Cochins are a broody breed. D'Uccles (which is what you're probably referring to when you say "mille fleur" which is a color) are also very broody. Just wait a bit and I'm sure at least one will get broody.

Will silkies go broody all year? Or do they only go broody in the spring time?
