This chicken was supposed to be a golden laced wyandotte! Looks more like a Rhode island reds to me, which isn't an issue at all. The issue is I think Noodle is a Rooster and not a hen. Cannot have a Rooster but before I rehome I want people with more experience to let me know they think.

S/he is between 8-10 weeks old and bigger then everyone else, has a bright red comb and really pretty colors...please let me know what you think.

I believe that the patches of red and green on the wings are indicative of a rooster. I’m not an expert but that’s what I’ve gleaned from some experts on here.

Post him on Craigslist in the Farm and Garden section.

I personally would not take any chickens back that left my property either. Giant biosecurity risk. However, I also wouldn't be selling males as females, and I'd know my breeds. If you decide to get another, post pics here before you purchase. We are fairly decent at breed and gender ID.
