I need a life...

......and now I'm depressed. I just realized I have used TWO of my parents sayings today....,"If you're bored I can find you something to do." and "If you have time to fight I guess you don't have enough chores."

If I catch myself saying "I'll give you something to cry about" or "Scoot the boot" I'm going to give up and check in to the old folks home.
Scoot a boot?

In short Ming Ming, he means they're lazy. You should have seen MFB whining when I made him crack three eggs while I was baking the other day...you'd have thought he had to lay the eggs...

And since he just called me old...he's also dead.

I admit-- I spent the evening on the recliner, feet up, watching the Olympics, but I was working, really I was. Someone had to hold the sleeping grandbaby and he likes me:) It was work, it really was. The Beach Volleyball was good.
Topped by me just giving the oldest granddaughter a lecture that was highly overdue about her attitude and her attitude and her attitude. It IS work! ( I made her cry and I don't care. She needs an attitude adjustment.)

The trick, guys, is to do something useful whilst you are reclined and relaxed. Snip beans, fold clothes, hold sleeping babes, terrorize a preteen.

Scoot a boot? Nope...My boots don't scoot.

My wife did buy me some new work boots this summer.
New work boots, new work pants, new work gloves...It
didn't happen.

I still don't work...

Spook...who was smart enough to buy a golf cart to ride
from his porch to the car...about 30 foot.
