it will but if u have 2 whites mating then you will only get whites but if you have all different colors then you will get random colors
Not random, but unknown as the white is an OFF switch, preventing the display od colours and patterns that are genetically present in the bird. Every white can be different, but a single white bird can only supply its offspring with the genes he/she carries, and if you breed that bird to a specific non-white genotype, over time you will figure out what genes she carries, at least to an extent.

oh well im new to silkies well had them for a year i don't know if he is mating her he just grabs her tail feathers so i don't think he is mating her .... do you know of a way to help him out ?? he is a year old .. what about grey silkies what gene do they carry ??
