Also it is mid Summer here so fairly hot.
I already have a heap of fodder growing for my chickens.

I have my breeder pens and am building a rooster box. Also have to make some more nest boxes and yet still want some thing more.lol.

Hay, can I make my own bedding somehow?? Like bedding for the roost and nest boxes? Grow wheat?!?!
I would need fairly large amounts.

If it summer there, why do you need to grow fodder? Isn't there plenty of greens growing for them to eat?

Bedding...wood chipper?...or get your pocket knife out, that'll keep ya busy!
