To me, this bird screams "rooster" but if you aren't certain, keep it around for a while and eventually you will hear it too

At only 7w w/ that comb, I would say cockeral, too. I have 5 ee's right now, my first. And only my 2 very obvious boys have combs like that.

tail looks rooish. But he's pretty. the color reminds me of a blue laced red Wyandotte.

Yes, he IS really beautiful! Much prettier than my 2 ugly mutt looking boys!

But they are all in that awkward phase. Wish all chicks were as beautiful as yours during the "awkward" phase!
