So sorry for your loss. So how many are lost? Were any bodies found? Are you getting more chicks to be with the 2 month old? I would keep the chick in the coop and run or inside with you.

Yes, I will- but the Hatcheries don't seem to have the same breeds available. right now, my local feed store has quail, if I got 2-3 would they be companions for Sparkles?

Chickens and quail generally don't get along. At best they tend to avoid each other and at worst chickens will kill quail. She needs other chickens
