I need advice for a crippled chick

I used to have a quail with a deformed leg similar in appearance to her leg. She got around fine but she did end up passing away when she was around 5 months old. It may just be a birth defect. How long has she had the problem?

Since birth. She still moves about but won't leave the enclosure like the others

I have a chick that is crippled just like yours. She's (he's?) about 2 months old. I noticed the problem a few weeks after hatch - she was the only one to survive my hatch (my incubator died mid-incubation, and luckily I had a broody hen at the same time). I don't think mine has marek's because she's never actually been around any other chickens - she was still pipping when I took her from the broody hen. (My adults had killed one other chick that had hatched all the way). I'm trying to figure out what to do with mine as well.
