I need advice on peachick problems.

I have a sweet, 1 week old peachick. We ended up taking her inside after we noticed the hen try to bite her face off. I have grown fond of this chick and I spoil her and she walks around following me. Last night she swallowed one of my hairs and her breathing is gurgly. I can not afford a vet. She sits in her brooder crying for me constantly I think she may really have a problem. She looks sick.

She is back to normal, her crop was really hard, when that softened her breathing was back to normal. I had no idea that a crop even exsisted! I have alot to learn. Thank you for replying. She is on starter feed from the local feed store and under a lamp, when she is not following me around.
