So I bought a coop and the nesting boxes are right next to the litter tray with perches closely on top. My new hens are all sleeping and popping in the nesting boxes and I know it's because they are equal in height. Because the coop is made this way i can't fix it. I was thinking of blocking off the nesting boxes at night but also thought of this. Should I remove the wood dividers in the nesting boxes and let them sleep in their and put a nesting box outside in their run? I have ping pong balls now in their nesting box and they keep pecking it out the way !!

I'd say to go ahead and close the nests up at night at least until they figure out how to use the roosts and get in that routine. That's what I have to do with my flock. Make sure to get out there pretty early in the morning to open the nests up so they can lay.
