Hi my name is Jennifer, I’m new to raising chickens. I noticed that two of them have one black toe nail each that looks dry and damaged. I’m not sure what to do. They are walking fine and don’t pull away when I touch it. Laying eggs like good girls. Help!

Here’s a photo of each toe

Looks very similar as when I first got my OEGB hen! The breeder/owner had noticed a 'poop ball' on one of her toes and pulled it off, and it took off her toenail  It was tender for a while and eventually looked like that and then very slowly healed and grew back, if they're not tender for the bird to the touch I wouldn't worry about them too much, do please keep an eye on them though just in case! It was also a while ago so I may be mistaken, maybe someone else can chime in as well? :D
