Hi everyone! So I am hatching welsh harlequin ducklings for the first time. Like I have never hatched ducks. Does anyone have any advice or just things I should about hatching ducks? They are only on day 2 because I just got them. Thanks!

Moisture levels are worth watching, especially towards the end. Mama duck would bring some moisture back on her feathers after swimming, so the humidity is higher than a chicken's nest.

If you live in a dry area, yes. mist them with tepid water about once per day when the mother is off the nest. Nothing too extreme. The ducks come home damp, not dripping.

Hi thanks for responding? Should I start spraying now? They are only one day 4.

Oops, sorry. I think it is mainly in the last week of incubation that this matters, but it won't hurt if you have been spraying already.
