I always wait until something presents itself. A lot of my hens don't have names yet because, for one, I know they will end up in the pot one day, and secondly, they haven't done anything that brings a name to mind. I have a Light Brahma and I don't know why, but one day I was watching her and it just popped into my mind that she looked like a Brunhilde. Dunno', but somehow it suits her.

Then there are Heckle and Jekyll, two BO's. They always seemed to be the ones leading the others astray; kind of mischievous.
