I know what you mean, my first glance at it I thought that is what it was!!! It will vine up on trees and whatnot!! I googled pic's of poisen ivy, some look really similar, some do not.. just have to check for the berries!! I am not allergic to poisen ivy so I wouldn't know if I walked though it or not!!

OK I'm back. Like most vines, it can be very invasive. I have to hard prune about 3 times a year. By June It will be a solid wall to the ground. And grows all summer.

Close up of the leaves. A little fuzzy.

I remember when we were driving down south I was amazed it is like a green blanket over everything--- it was crazy I saw lumps and bumps in the "blanket" and wasn't sure I wanted to know what was underneath. =O

Imp--- that is really close. It does look very similar. I have never noticed any flowers on it but I first noticed it by our silo and never really payed much attention to it--- except this year it is popping up everywhere--- literally! In the middle of our lawn, in my flower beds, the base of trees. I'm going to keep an eye on it to see if anything blooms on it. Before my DH mows the yard I am going to take a picture of all the seedlings it is incredible. Until I know for sure what it is I don't want to turn the chickens loose on it... I also have a huge crop of Garlic Mustard that popped up. I am beginning to wonder if this is a result of the construction in our area. We are on the border of suburbia and agriculture and sadly tracks of land have been taken over by developers--- maybe disturbing the ground in these areas sent all kinds of seeds flying last fall--- directly onto my property!!!
