I need ducks!

I completely blame Bhep because I now need ducks! She very graciously gave me a few dozen duck eggs....I baked with them....now I need ducks! LOL

She has offered to sell me 3 of her 300 ducks. I was thinking about getting a drake to cross them with....I'm all about DP. Maybe put a Scovie pair in with them too.

I know they will need a tub of water and lots of cleaning.....

I hope to put them in the woods/shade some so they can have a wetter area. I hope to find a simple fencing/pens.

Ideas? Suggestions? Tips?

I'm not familiar with ducks at all except for the information I've acquired in passing.....Can I cross the 300 with a Muscovy drake to have a nice DP cross? I've never eaten duck but I plan on trying it to make sure I like it.

you can cross a muscovy with a 300 but ,most if not all the off spring will be mules or not able to reproduce,.
