I need help all of my brothers chickens moved to the trees.

My brothers chickens all moved to his trees in his back yard. Some of the chickens come down but most of the time the rest of them stay up there. He has over 70 chickens. Please give me some advice to help my brother.

there could be something scaring them, clean the coop out and look for mites, lice, mice, snakes, and the like

You could clip their flight feathers on one side...

Either coop is getting too hot or they were disturbed by a predator while roosting in coop. Check and fix problem. Birds roosting up like that will be found by an owl eventually.
