I NEED HELP ASAP

Is it sticky? If so, warm wet cloth to wipe off. If not sticky, quick wet wipe off and don't worry either way. More important, is the yolk out? If so, pics of the yolk. Specifically frontal pic and a pic of where yolk meets belly. Keep nails away. How is baby acting? Yawning still? As much info as possible please. Too much info is ok!
I'm saying this because I'm in a nightmare no internet zone! I live in the middle of nowhere! It may take me time to answer. But I will. Pile on the info and questions.

Lets get @casportpony here if she is still on, My own opinion is if there is any yolk he should stay in. But I don't hatch in a bator I let my girls do it, Also @Lacrystol is an experienced hatcher

@Pyxis is experienced.
I tried to give some advice, but it's almost like I'm not there so I'm not sure how I can further help. this is a very sticky situation..NOT a yolk issue

Ok. If it was me, and yes, this has happens several times to me, if I knew my temps were off, even slightly (1° high) I would put baby and egg in a cup. You want the baby in a "C" shape. Kinda fetal position. It puts pressure on abdominal area to help yolk contract in. If I felt, and could see no yolk,I would leave baby as is. Let baby hatch out. Are there still veins showing on membrane? Ones that are slightly smaller than a pencil lead, or, small spidery hair veins? If large ones, cup. If small spidery hair veins, I would allow the hatch. Using a qtip to stop bleeding. I also keep a tube of bacitracin in the bator. It keeps it very warm and liquidy (easier to spread.)
What are you seeing at this point?
That goo yellowy white slime isn't yolk.
DASH FUE,

So, I don't see any yolk at all. His back did have a layer of gooey sticky stuff on it but I took a warm cloth and wiped it off.
Yes, that is a piece of egg shell by his right foot as he's still partly in the egg. I'm kinda afraid to take him out as I don't know what's gonna happen. He's trying really hard to get out and he's starting to fluff up. He's yawning still and chirping which I'm happy about because id rather him be talking than being silent. I am concerned that his eyes are still closed. He opens them a little bit and then closes them.
I can try and take him out of the egg more to take a few pictures of his navel area.
My last duckling that hatched from my incubator in July didn't have any problems at all and her navel looked fine and she had no gooey stuff so this is all new to me.
He's moving around a lot. I'm keeping his nails away. He's trying to lift his head up but he's still weak.
Is the fact that he's early have part on the fact that he can't keep his eyes open? Is that also the reason why he can't lift his head up?

He's a sticky baby, what that means is the humidity was to high at some point causing him to get this THICK gooy stuff, OR the temp Dropped, the bad part about this gooy nightmare stuff is it can and will sufficate them. That is why when I said clean him, he needs lots of cleaning in your other post, i was being serious. you have to remove it off of him. he can't do it himself.

Please do not take him out of that shell, the reason his eyes are closed again, he's got all this gooy stuff covering, it's like a coating Similar to GLUE and it does not need to be there, warm water with a qtip and wiping the eyes will get that off of there, then once your done look at that qtip, I bet you will see the yellow gunk. That would be your problem. he would need his beak, nostrils, neck, head, back, wings, all EXPOSED ONLY body parts needs to be cleaned, stay away from inside that shell. He also needs to be laying down with his feet to the ground. laying on his belly button, Hopefully you have wired flooring, it's great for helping them get strength in those little legs.

Early birds are usually caused because the temp is to High... he won't lift he head for a while.. At least 24 hours from now.

He's got a gooey green thick liquid by his naval which was the yellow stuff that was attached to him. And he's still got te yellowy white liquid. They aren't the best pictures but my phone takes terrible pictures so that's the best I can do

Ok, I'll clean him up and then lay him belly down on the ground. I'll put him back in the egg and turn the humidity Down?
