I need help!! Broody hen alert!

Hi all,

I have a broody hen that is so persistent nothing seems to stop her. So much so, shes lost all her feathers from her bottom and chest due to constantly sitting!

It seems that i will have to allow her to have chicks. Whats the likelihood of her hatching something? How will my small flock (6) react to a cockeral? Is there a specific cockeral i should get? Where do i start?


Sorry for all the questions i'm out of my depth and really have no clue what i am doing! Help!

Have you tried locking her in a coop or pen away from her nest site?
