Fluffy has had issues sour crop all summer, we thought we'd found worms over the weekend so started deworming with safeguard paste Monday ( day 4). We just brought her in for today's dose and she's super lethargic, eyes closes and shivering. I don't know what to do.

She's about a year and a half.

I can't tell if she's puffed up because she's cold or swollen....and her inder wing is really pale while the rest of her body is really purple

You've never been able to resolve her crop issue even with a crop bra and treatment with an anti-fungal? https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/pukey-hen.1523436/page-2

If the crop is still not functioning properly, then I'd really focus on treating that. Do keep her hydrated and see if she will eat.

As mentioned in your other thread earlier this year, sometime there's something else going on. Deworming like you are doing is a good idea.
She may have some reproductive issues or she may be nutritionally deficient since the crop is not working it seems.

We had luck with the antifungal for a while, she did get better and even was laying again. But then it his again. I haven't had luck with her keeping a crop bra on and gave up for fear she'd hurt herself.

My husband did manage to get her to regurgitate the fluids in her crop, nearly 2 cups worth and she perked up. Her remaining crop was doughy, bordering on solid about the size of half a dinner sausage. She's now had a half cup of vitamin electrolyte water and is pounding back coconut oil as fast has she can manage......good idea???

I'd try the bra again if the crop is not functioning well. Carol made a thread about making one, she's added to the thread, tweaking the pattern and adding info.

It does look like blood pooling under the skin. Has she been laying down a lot? Any chance she fell from a roost?

Electrolytes are good. The coconut oil is good. Give her crop a massage.
Do take care when vomiting a chicken, they don't have a gag reflex, so can easily choke an die.

Hard to know what's happening with your sweet girl.

Not laying an extreme amount as far as I can tell. But she did start this weird walk a few days ago where she pycjs her feet straight up and kicks forward underneath herself. Maybe it's from that?? Definitely not a fall from the roost, she just was released from isolation and hasn't been up on the roost.

Secondary question?? Can I give dewormer and canesten together?? We've been only giving warmer, and put a hold on sour crop meds....
