I just wanted to thank you all again for your help and guidance through my chicken mess. Long story short I have 3 healthy chicks that I've forbidden by boss to kill. I've had to bury 3 of them and had 2 of the eggs be not fully developed chicks. There are 3 more in the nest that we are taking out today.

A few weeks ago I knew nothing about chicks or chickens other then a few tidbits I'd picked up from my boss. Today I know exactly what to do. I'm actually a little sad she doesn't want the hens to hatch more. I want more chicks now. I don't like the death part, but with death also comes life.

Eggberta, TwoToo and Cupcake are their names. ;-)
