I need help just order my 1st meat birds

I use a box stall. I don't let them out. I bed with shavings adding more as necessary. The pen is not cleaned until after the chickens are gone. I have no idea if being inside all the time affects the taste but at this time I do not have a good outside run for them. I raise ours in the winter and the weather is often cold, damp, and foggy. I don't raise them in the summer here because it is very hot. It is very easy for us to care for them in the stall and they seem content.

I just got meat chickens too and mine are about a week old now. I did not get cornish X though I got freedom ranger broilers. Here is my journal on the meat birds if your interested. I record everything we think may be helpful for us next year
