Ok every year around this time i paint my coop. I put 2 coats on the ceiling and studs about 4 days ago. I let it dry until it was COMPLETLY dry before i let the chickens in. The next day was sunny and they were outside the whole day. Then yesterday and today they have been trapped inside all day because of rain. I noticed the silver laced cochin poop out blue poop. The texture was poop but it was blue AND thats the color of the paint!
Will it hurt her?!?!
Oh yeah There are a few shaving with paint on them (like 20 in the whole coop) They didnt have food till just now so maybe they were hungry and ate the shavings? or the wall?

As long as it was latex and not oil, not old lead based, and not so much that it is clogging up their crops then they will be fine. I'm glad you didn't just post "chickens with blue poops" that would have caused many furrowed brows.
