I have 4 buckeye chicks and I am not sure how to sex them. I went out to take some picture to go with this post and it flash low batteries and that was that.
They are 12 wks and 3 days old. 1 is a cockerel, he has a more developed comb then the others and is growing an impressive black feathered tail similar to a jungle fowl. He is easy.
The rest I am not sure of, at first I thought they were all male because I have Easter Eggers and they had the three ridge comb that you see with young males but now I have no idea. What characterist should I look for?????
Is there a size difference or I don't even know what else to ask. If you have some and could help I would be so glad. I have been trying to figure this out for well 3 months.
