We are currently building a house and I was looking at paint ideas and came across glow in the dark paint. Well it popped a huge idea into my head on what to do for my 4 month old son's room.
I am a Batman fan and had planned on doing a superhero theme for the room especially with all the superhero stuff out that I can decorate it with. I didn't plan on sticking with one hero but after seeing the glow in the dark paint Batman came to my mind.
I would like to do a Gotham City silhouette and have it so when I turn off the lights the windows look lit up on the buildings and have the bat signal in the sky. The room will be a 10'x9'. It will be our closet when he gets older and can have the bigger room is why it isn't to big. One wall has a window in the center which I'm not really worried about painting a mural on it. The other wall across from it will have a door at one end but it is a high wall. The ceiling goes from the wall with the window and goes up to the next wall which is probably 10'9" high.
I'm stumped on how to do this. I'd like to have the city in the area beside the door and onto the side wall. I also want Batman up on a gargoyle looking towards the bat signal.
I'm looking for any advice on how to do this. I haven't painted walls before but my husband and me aren't bad at art. We both like drawing and my husband loves comics. I think it would make a fun room for my son when he gets a little bigger and I wouldn't mind having it as my closet either when he gets the big room.
Here is an idea of what the room looks like. The grey square is the door area.
