I need help with a chick and it’s swollen apendage!

Yes I do put them together in one cage I usually do till about 3 months of age I’m not sure how many stags or pullets to me I think now two and two ósea two stags and two pullets I think not sure I might post a thread to see what they might be but there are 4 in total I actually need to change the cage since they are growing rapidly
You may need to watch them and see if they are really picking at one another.
Even pullets will pick at a stag.
You may find you need to put the pullets in one cage and the stags in their own - it's different every time. Sometimes they do o.k. for a while, other times not so much.

I'll be honest, I'm terrible at sexing birds LOL If you want others to see if they can tell, post on the Gamefowl thread the guys/gals may be able to tell. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/american-gamefowl.1307560/page-1606

What do you mean you didn't know until you let her free range - is she wild?
Post some photos of the parents too if you have them. I would like to see them all.
I'm on that GF thread so if you post there I'll see them:)

I honestly just thought she was like costly but the man just told me she’s a special girl so I’m like Um alright what he meant by special is she is super aggressive like she will literally fly in the air on attack mode she will attack the ducks I had the pigeons the bantams the layers she had a kill streak in his house she had severely injured 4 birds and killed 3 others I was surprised like super surprised I thought by special he meant that she was worth a lot of money LOL

I’ll post a pic of the whole family asap

has not but I think it is because of the molt she’s molting quite aggressively so maybe it’s because of that....I think I’ll take that back I just showed her a hen and she went full kill mode
