This baby chick was born 3/20. The last one to hatch and flipped around the incubator. On day one it still want using its feet. Day two and three we tried the bandaid method to treat spraddle leg and had no luck. It gets to its food and water by walking on its hocks, which now have calluses. What do I do for it? I've just read about vitamin supplements...I tried using a cream cheese container with holes to prop it up and maybe it would put weight on the feet, but was unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated.

Definitely start some poultry vitamins in the water right away. Incubation problems can be a cause of leg problems. If there is a leg bone deformity or slipped tendon, it may not be able to be fixed. But, that said, I would give it a try. Poultry Pediatric Podiatry is a good site to visit. If the toes are curled under, I would make sure that your vitamins contain riboflavin.
