I want to add some gueanis to my flock, how many should I add and how much noise do they make... Also how far do the roam? Are they good with chickens? How big are they?

It is recommended that you have a flock of at the least, TEN. I have 14 presently and they have done well.
and how much noise do they make...

This is my first year with them and when they want to, they can create a noise like nothing else. Their calls and sounds do not bother me though. Everyone says on here that they are nosiest in their first year. Mine are 8 months old and there are times when they are quite.
Also how far do the roam?

I have 6.5 acres. Mine roam all over it and WAY BEYOND. They are taking up about 20 acres right now in "roaming."
Are they good with chickens?

Mine have been quite good with my chcikens. Sometimes one of the Guinea males will chase a chciken hen and pull out her tail feather but my Guineas have not hurt my chickens. I let my chicken hens brood, hatch and raise my Guineas and the Guineas go in and roost with the chcikens each night. Some of my chickens seem to prefer hanging with the Guineas than other chickens although the chickens , thank goodness, won't roam as far.
How big are they?

3-5 lbs & smaller than my large fowl chickens. They also eat less feed because they mostly forage for bugs.

Thanks a bunch!!! I live back in te woods right behind a rich snob neighborhood and I'm afriaid if ten guineas end up in someones yard they would call the police. I am zoned for ANY farm animal I want but up there they can only have 2 chicken hens in the yard. I think gueanas aren't a good idea for me
