I need help with my flock?

I have one buff orp roo hes 6 months old and a bb red bantam thats 7 months both were raised together as babies, anyways they are in a coop together he keeps trying to mate her but shes to small, my question is this if i add some buff orp hens to the flock will he leave her alone and focus more on bigger hens? Plus i tried moving her to a cage with other bantams but they attacked her so i dont know what to do any advice would be good!!

Well, I find that every roo has his "favorite". If you're concerned about her well-being then adding more hens would be a good idea so he doesn't focus mainly on her. He may choose another as his favorite, who knows!
