I need help with my hen

My hen is making broody sounds, but she is not puffing up or being aggressive. I am stumped on whats wrong with her. Any ideas would be helpful.

What broody sounds? That constant clucking? I've had broody hens that never sat, broody hens that never pecked, and broody hens that never puffed up. Some can be odd about it. I break them the same as any other broody.

Yes just the broody clucking. She never sits on eggs either

My broody is never aggressive, she has just started hatching her first clutch of eggs that I’ve let her, been out to check on her and she was absolutely fine with letting me check her babies. Not all are aggressive but if she isn’t sitting she could just be a broody who isn’t dedicated to the taskwhat breed is she?

I call them walking broodies here. I've had one or two over the past decade. It isn't common. One of mine would continue to lay through it too. Her I never broke. She just stopped doing it eventually.
