I picked up a new rooster this morning. Let's hope he settles things. Once he is added to the flock. Girls are already curious and have been leaving Edna alone this morning. So that is a good thing. Chickens can be so mean.

Here is a picture of the new roo, GW McLintock, Do you think he is an Easter Egger? Definitely bearded with green/grey legs, but not a pea comb. Oh well as long as he takes care of the girls and does not attack me, he is beautiful.




and one of little Edna on my husband's shoulder. She is just 18 weeks now.

Maybe EE mix? He has such wonderful coloring. Very beautiful! Congrats!

I'd say a salmon favorolle Easter egg mix. He's got the salmon favorolle coloring. He also seems to have a little feathers on the lower part of his feet. I believe both of the breeds are known for being sweet roosters, so.... Let us know how he does!

I just looked them up and you maybe right. Yay! I do like him and he seems to be settling with the hens really well. So as long as he does not become aggressive and time goes by. We are good.
