yes to this ! also id check for internal worms. if you do find an egg in there take a bit of petroleum jelly and work your finger around the egg with some. Double yolks will bind up a small hen sometimes. best of luck!

warm water for 15 minutes she will relax the vent and let it out. you can also use a small pen or needle to puncture the egg and allow her to pass it. lose the egg and save the hen. best of luck with her

Give her a calcium supplement, liquid calcium, calcium citrate +D, calcium carbonate (tums). The calcium helps with contractions to help her push the egg out. Lube up the vent around the egg, KY jelly or equivalent is best. Warm soak to help relax her. Keep her in a dark, quiet place and see if she will pass it. If none of those work then you may have to manually attempt to remove the egg, that comes with risk and has to be done carefully. More info here:
