E cunculi is normally confirmed by lab tests along with some visual indicators. You definitely need to see a vet for confirmation diagnosis and treatment and not just go off of internet info. It is terminal if not properly treated and there's a risk your rabbit will never recover even if you DO treat it. Fenbendazole (Panacur) is typically used to treat it, not ivermectin, which is a dewormer. You're putting your buck at far greater risk trying to solve this yourself than if you made an appointment. You can also kill your rabbit if you do not give the proper doseage of ivm. Their systems are so delicate any stress or shock can kill them.Ok thank you, my rabbit does not have worms but has encephalitozoon cuniculi, which I've read that ivermectin can treat because it is a natural anti-parasitic.
