I came home from school and my dad brought some baby ducklings, one of them has a really big eye and I don’t know what it is or how to help him.

First, I would get some human saline or pet vetricyn eye cleaner and clean that eye. If you can find some terramycin eye ointment, that will fight any infection. I know it looks bad but he should be ok. Just curious, was he with chicks? Baby chickens like to peck at shiny things like duck eyes.

Yes he was with one, it was a disaster when I got home. The chick that was with him was to the brink of death, she is doing fine now and it’s in the brooder with other other chicks I hatched myself. The duck is in a separate brooder. Thank you for your help
