I NEED HELP!!!

ok, i have 18 mallard duck eggs and have no idea if they hatch the same days of a chicken or what? do i have to put water in the bator? ( its a atomatic fan) and if so when and how much? ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!

I did duck eggs as a kid. They take 28 days and need a higher humidity than chicken eggs. But childhood is a ways away for me so I don't remember much more. Karen

Chicken eggs take 21 days of incubation. Ducks, pheasants, turkeys, and geese take longer. I think you will have to incubate the duck eggs one week longer than your chicken eggs.
