I'm new to brooding n hatching, my broody hatched her first egg this morning and when I found it was barely alive with a small yolk sac on its belly another hen had gotten in the nest and my broody had pushed the chick to the side. The chick died half hour later is it normal for them to have a lil sac or is it all supposed to be gone when hatched? She still has one left with a chick in it but don't no if it'll hatch . What should I look for if it does should I take it away from her n the other n put in a breeding box? Can someone please help? I have her 2 fresh eggs to sit on will she stay on them again or is it to soon for her to sit on another batch?
