I NEED IDEAS FOR A LITTLE COOP!

I have a mini run in for my miniature horse, the chickens love it more than she does. it was very easy to make and it is movable.

Here is a picture of it before we put a front on it. The chickens are always in it, especially with bad weather. We put some wood across the front and left a little door for the mini to go in and out of, but if you attached a little run to something like this, they wold be able to see the big girls, but still be safe and in their own area! You would just want one with a front and of course predator proof it!

I have an idea for several mini coops to keep my bantam breeds separate. And most of the materials are free. Take 4 old 24inch std semi tires you can get them for free. Stack them cut a hole in the second to the bottom tire for a entrance. Now all you need is sticks from the yard for perches and a round plywood cover for the top, and actually on of those old plastic lawn tables if you can find one will work for the roof. Stagger the perches at different levels and the hens can lay their eggs in the lip. Use vertical 1X4 decking boards spaced for the sides and the mini coop will actually look like a garbage can fence, that many people have in their yards. It will also make moving the coop easier to keep it on fresh earth. The boards can even be found from recycled housing materials on Craig's list.

These coops would be too small for standard breeds, but I have 5 different bantam breeds to keep seperate and do not want to build 5 sheds.
