I realize its something we all have to face.when having pets we will eventually lose them.she was one of my first and favorite hen.RIP my sweet Floppy.

So many precious hens (and beloved roosters) have come and gone from this place, that I'm sure my heart is covered with chicken footprints. I try to think of it this way: the alternative is not having them at all. And to me, that doesn't bear thinking of. They add so much to my life that I just try to remember each one fondly, their personalities, their distinct voices.
