I need serious help getting an avatar

I have tried following instructions on here- doesn't work.

I have a picture in my uploads I want to use- this site won't let me resize it, it just tells me the file already exists. Anybody help me?

You'll have to delete the one in your uploads first. The instructions in the FAQs do work, you just can't duplicate pics in the Uploads.

Bring on that avatar!

Thank you!!! I will try it! NOPE! Doesn't work - when I try to upload the avatar, all it does is take me to my computer photos, not the ones in my uploads here. How do I get it out of my uploads?

Click on uploads. Click bottom right on My Uploads. Find the pic, click on delete.

Are using the detailed instruction by Miss_Jayne? Don't forget the right click and save step.
