I NEED SILKIE CHICKEN HELP!!!!!!!

Okay, in my experience, the chicks aren't hard to raise if you know what you're doing. I've only lost 1 chick so far that was a few weeks old because she got wedged in a small space and I didn't realize in time. Adults are a bit harder, especially if you buy them as adults and they aren't used to your set up.

The 4th picture is a partridge, the 3rd is a Grey or silver partridge.

The chicks are harder to tell apart (ignore the black crested chick, that's a polish)

Thanks for the tag! Really would need to see a photo but if it’s light colored with symmetrical stripes down its back it’s most likely a Partridge or possibly mixed Partridge.

The chick looks just like those! If I can't get the chick at wilco do you know where I can get some of that color?

They came from IDEAL hatchery. You can get some of both colors if you want, or one or the other.

They have a 30$ minimum on orders.

Are your silkies large fowl? It looks big.

I wouldn't know. My buff (not shown) is a normal silkie size. The Grey pullet is very small (either from genetics or a back injury she had as a juvenile) and the partridge is a bit larger than the buff. He's very upright though, which might make him look larger. He's also closer to the camera than the pullet behind him, which might also make him look larger

Oh, and the Grey is perched on the water bowl so that's why she looks so tall
