I have a Standard Buff Orpington Rooster, and a while back her got sick or something and I had to take care of him alot, feed him etc. Now he is doing just great and I was going to trade him to a friend of mine for 1 of her Rhode Island Red Roosters she has. But recently my BO roo has taken to a BO hen named "Rose" and they are best buds ( Rose is my baby! ). Today she was looking for a place to lay an egg and he was helping her and he even got on the nest with her! lol And got stuch about 4 different times ... and guess who had to help him out??? ME of course! lol He is so sweet to her and just follows her around all day and he finds her food etc. So I kind of hate to take him away from her if you know what I mean. I have another BO roo "Prince" but I don't want to trade him because he is just so beautiful! I need some advice. Thanks

Here is a pic of the rooster in question:

That's what I'm thinking, but I don't have another roo to trade! And my friend just has about 6 BO hens and she needs a BO rooster for them to breed them with. And she doesn't want bantam roos. And this roo only like "Rose" he's terrifighed of every other chicken I have. So he's not much use to me. Just another mouth to feed.
