A hen would correct behavior by giving the offending chick a peck. You can "peck" with a finger, but first make sure it's just not normal chick behavior...what looks "mean" to us tender-hearted humans can be perfectly normal behavior in chickens and correcting it will just cause confusion.

My chick has a funny wing when he/she tucks it in it stays with the tip going up over his back what do I do?

Never Mind it was a dislocated wing join't the chick healed nicely
