I need some advice.

I have 5 hens and did have a rooster, but he was too rough and was injuring my hens. I knew I had too few hens and decided to rehome him to a nice man with 10 hens.
Now my hens (who free range) won't go back into the coop at night. And wont even come when I call them for their dinne!
Will they ever settle back into their old routine

Did their refusal to return to the coop happen the same night that the rooster was rehomed? Have you very closely examined the coop to make sure there are no mites in it?

It did start that same night. There are no mites.

Can I ask how you went about catching the ones you rehomed? Did you take them off the roost at night?
